My main personal project is designing artwork for my Indie Pop band called,
Vanilla & Pepper. I've designed a logo, social media
posts, posters, business cards, merch, and song artwork.
For our brand, I wanted an icon that would capture the meaning of our band name (Vanilla & Pepper) at first glance.
Our music consists of vibrant sweet melodies and harmonies matched with spicy guitar riffs with a full sound.
I began sketching vanilla flowers and chili peppers. After a few renditions, I came up with the
idea to merge them together creating a bigger flower.
Promotional Design
To promote our music, I created flyers, business cards, and merch while using Photoshop. After preparing the merch designs, I partnered with my husband to heat press these designs on t-shirts and tote bags. As DIY musicians, we are always finding new ways to use our creativity.
Video Design
Using Adobe Premiere, I arranged the video clips and graphics (designed in Photoshop/Illustrator) to create a music video.
